OUR MENUS 

We take food very seriously at Little Adventurers.  Not only do we want our lovely little children to enjoy what they eat and have enough food, but we also want to make sure we are taking care of everyone's nutritional needs.   Leah Schofield is a former catering company owner and she is passionate about good food for children.  We have joined forces with the fantastic chef at Kippax Greenfield and JPL Catering to bring some lovely menus into the nursery. Below are the menus we are currently working with on a 3 week rolling basis.  Menus change in February and September of each year.  Throughout the year we have various dedicated days or weeks related to food, for example National Bread Week.   During this week children get to sample lots of different varieties of breads as well as actually baking their own.

All food (breakfast, snacks, lunches & tea) is included in the fees for fee paying parents.  For those funded parents you can select to have a full meal and/or tea on site and pay a small daily charge for this, or you can supply a packed lunch for your child. All packed lunches must follow our healthy packed lunch guidance (see below) to ensure we comply with current government recommendations for healthy eating in schools.

All daily fruit snacks, water and milk are free for all children

Breakfast (8am - 8.45am) - Selection of cereals and toast

Snack (from 9.45am) - Variety of savoury and fruit snacks

Lunch (11.30am) - as per the menus below

Afternoon Tea (3.30-4.00pm) - Assorted sandwiches / muffin pizza
