We provide many enrichment activities for our children across the week and at times throughout the year.  These include Forest School where we are lucky enough to be able to use the forest area at Allerton Bywater Primary School; Spanish with Lucie from Bilinguasing; Moo Music; Baby Band; Art Venturers and Football with Richard from Striker Tots and Baby Ballet with Jess.

We also have specialist visitors across the year and where possible we book in visits as follows:-

a live bee hive with Andy;

Little Zoo to You;

Living Eggs (we hatch chicks);

Insect Lore (we hatch caterpilars);

LANGUAGES

Bilinguasing - Spanish

Teaching children languages from an early age has lots of benefits – including boosting their development, enhancing their speech and increasing their confidence. 

Research shows that singing in a foreign language can make it easier to learn, which is why at BilinguaSing we combine music with learning French, Spanish, German or Italian. 

At Little Adventurers we are doing Bilinguasing in Spanish

MUSIC & DANCE

We get treated to sessions from Moo Music and Baby Band.  Our children love them.

Benefits of Singing and Dancing for young children include:

• Increases Sensory Development. During this age children are learning to understand their sensory ability
• Improves Literacy. Do you know that a baby under 12 month is already able to identify different voice and tone? 
• Mood Lifter. By introducing different types of music to toddlers and young children you could set or schedule the routine for them.
• Excellent Way to Practice Language. During singing, toddlers and young children are not only learning about how to pronounce a word but they also learn about the meaning. Different tone in a word is also having different meaning. The best way to tell them is through singing because it is an excellent way to practice language.

TODDLER SPORTS

We are delighted to have Striker Sports attending our Nursery with Richard, head coach and ex-footballer.  The children absolutely love these sessions.

ART EXPERIENCES

The benefits of arts and crafts in the early years:-
