Our baby room is opening in Allerton Bywater in April 2025.   This room is Little Explorers. There is very limited availability so please do register your interest early by completing an enquiry on the main page of our website.

We take babies from 12 weeks old but please be aware that your government funding is not available until the term after your child turns 9 months old and most parents like to wait until at least 6 months before placing their baby into nursery.  We will support you with whatever your requirements are for starting your little one with us.  

We urge you to visit our baby room so you can see for yourself whether you feel this is the right environment for your child at such a young age.

Babies stay in our baby room from 0-15 months or thereabouts.   Once a child is happily mobile we begin their transition over to our Toddler 1 room which is from 15 months - 2 years old.

Our baby room Leaders are Stacey Speight and Jessica Guy.  Both leaders are Level 3 EYE qualified and have extensive experience working with babies in Early Years.  We urge you to come and meet them, they will be delighted to show you around the baby room and talk about how they organise their day.

Our babies then move over to the main building and into Toddler Room 1.

Our Toddler 1 room is led by Claire Crozier and in her absence Gemma Thewlis.  Both Claire and Gemma are experienced Level 3 practitioners who thoroughly enjoy working with our toddler children.    This room is called Little Discoverers and children enter the room after 15 months and when they are comfortably mobile on their feet.  They stay in this room until they reach 2 years old.  Claire has a great team of practitioners supporting in this room to ensure your little ones have an amazing time.  Please do arrange to come and visit this room so you can see for yourself what these little discoverers get up to.  They really do live up to their name as they are into everything and everything is a discovery.
