Angela is a qualified Head Teacher and one of our Nursery owners and has outstanding experience within early years. She has been a qualified Montessori practitioner since 1995 with international diplomas in Montessori teaching.   Angela holds a B.Ed Hons Degree in Education, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), EYPS as well as NPQH (National Professional Qualification for Headship).  Angela owned 2 Ofsted outstanding private Montessori nurseries in Central London between 1996-2008 before becoming a Primary School Teacher and then eventually Head Teacher for 6 years of an Ofsted outstanding infant school in Hertfordshire. In 2014 Angela won Montessorian Practitioner of the Year 2014, a National Award, for supporting a school to become the first state funded Montessori School in London.  Angela has a real passion for teaching and creating the best early years environments possible.

Leah is one of our owners here at Little Adventurers.  Leah currently leads the Pre-School Room (Little Voyagers) in Allerton Bywater. She has a Level 4 Diploma in Montessori Pedagogy and is mum to the adorable Ella and Harry.  Leah comes from a catering background having run her own catering company and is very passionate in ensuring children eat balanced and nutritional foods.  Leah is also incredibly creative and can run up a very cute bobble hat in under an hour.  We will be using Leah's creative flair to produce lots of lovely activities for our children to use.  Watch out on our socials for future posts of Leah's creations.

My name is Mollie.  I am the Deputy Manager.  I work in the pre-school.  I am a Level 3 qualified Practitioner and I have been qualified since 2014.  I have one son and one daughter.  I am passionate about good quality childcare and making memorable experiences for the children in my care.  I have been learning more about Montessori pedagogy as I have recently completed the IMP Montessori Programme.  I also enjoy using my very creative skills in the setting.  Like Leah I am an avid crocheter and enjoy all things creative.

My name is Rachel Mayfield and I am a Qualified Teacher.  I love teaching nursery age children, I have one son and one daughter of my own.  I teach in the pre-school and also take care of all the SENCo needs at the nursery.  I have achieved my Level 3 Early Years SENCo qualification.

My name is Lauren Chapman.  I am a qualified practitioner at Level 3 and love to step in and help wherever I am needed.   However, I have turned my hand to finance and I am now the Finance Manager at Little Adventurers.   

My name is Zoe,  I have been in and out of catering all my life. I have worked in school kitchens, restaurants and cafe settings.

I was the kitchen lead for Huddersfield Students Union and catered for royal visits during my time at University of Huddersfield.  I have catered in nurseries since November 2017, I enjoy cooking healthy nutritious food that both fill the nursery with that home cooked smell and know the children will enjoy.  I deal with all the management side of the kitchen including liaising with Environmental Health.   Watch out for my dedicated cooking page coming soon.
